It’s common knowledge that having a dog at home can be great for kids in many ways. Research has demonstrated that babies who grow up with dogs are less likely to develop allergies and have a more robust immune system, especially in their first year of life.
Furthermore, having dogs during childhood can impart essential life skills to kids, starting with treating them gently and with care.
Moreover, one of the most significant advantages of having a furry friend as a childhood companion is the establishment of a lasting bond.
Like the heart-warming video of the Golden Retriever meeting his human sibling for the first time.
In the previous year, a family who had already gained popularity on social media for sharing videos of their three Malamutes became even more exciting with the arrival of a fourth furry friend. Before a month ago, the family comprised of three individuals – a mother, a father, and their daughter, alongside two Malamutes, a cat named Milo, and a Golden Retriever called Buddy. Recently, Emma gave birth to a baby boy named Nathan, which brought an immeasurable amount of happiness to the entire family.
Shane and Emma were thrilled about the arrival of their baby boy and couldn’t wait for him to meet his older sister, Amelia, as well as their beloved furry pets. According to Shane’s Instagram post, one of the dogs was shaking with excitement when they first met the new addition to the family. It was heartwarming to see how quickly the dogs bonded with the baby, taking turns watching over him while he slept. However, there was one dog who was especially devoted and never left the baby’s side.
Buddy, the adorable golden retriever, loves keeping a watchful eye on his human baby brother. Although Nathan is not yet old enough to play with Buddy, he snuggles up close to him often. Instead of playing, Nathan uses Buddy as a cozy blanket. In a newly posted YouTube video, viewers can see Buddy affectionately resting his snout on Nathan’s legs while they sit or nap together. The benevolent pup is completely smitten with his little brother, and they share a sweet bond that is heartwarming to watch.
According to Shane, whenever Buddy the Golden Retriever encounters a newborn, he stays close to their side. Nathan’s constant companion follows him everywhere he goes, or as far as he can walk on his own. It’s as if our furry friends have a natural instinct to become protective guardians.
Observing the connection between the baby and the dog is such a beautiful thing. It’s amazing how they have already formed such a strong bond, and I can only imagine the amazing things they will accomplish together in the future.
